Job Summary
A Junior Customer Engineer
typically works in the field of information technology and is responsible for
providing technical support, assistance, and solutions to customers. Their role
involves helping customers install, configure, and maintain hardware and
software products, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a positive customer
experience.
What you’ll do:

Provide technical support to customers through
various channels, such as phone, email, or in-person visits.
·
Install, set up, and configure hardware &
Internet Connectivity according to customer requirements.
·
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
efficiently and effectively.
·
Create user guides and documentation to assist
customers in self-help.
· Ensure that products/services are functioning
optimally and are compatible with the customer's environment.
·
Maintain detailed records of customer
interactions, issues, and solutions.
·
Identify and diagnose technical issues,
proposing and implementing solutions to address them.
·
Collaborate with senior engineers or supervisor
if complex issues require escalation.
·
Ensure that all work is completed to a high
standard and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
·
Perform quality checks and validations to guarantee
customer satisfaction.
·
Collect and communicate customer feedback and
insights to the service improvement.
·
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and
industry trends to provide informed technical support.
·
Participate in training and development programs
to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
Educational
Qualifications:
·
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer
Science, Information Technology)
·
Minimum One Year customer support and networking
experience
·
CompTIA Network+ , Cisco CCNA Certifications
will add extra value
Additional
Requirements:
·
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating
systems, and software applications.
·
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting
skills.
·
Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills.
·
Ability to work well independently and within a
team.
·
Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to
providing exceptional service.
·
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
and products.
· Junior Customer Engineers may be required to travel to customer sites for on-site support and may need to work irregular hours to accommodate customer needs or emergencies.
